Your donation makes it possible for us to accelerate wild animal welfare science through research, grants, and community-building.
Although the vast majority of animals live in the wild, we know very little about their quality of life or how to improve it. Scientific progress is desperately needed for us to understand which factors cause the most suffering for wild animals and how people can address those factors responsibly and effectively. A field focused on understanding wild animal welfare will open doors to new scientific paradigms and ultimately help wild animals, and that’s why we do what we do.

The deductible portion of your contribution for federal income tax purposes is limited to the amount of your donation minus $20. Wild Animal Initiative is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
