Your donation makes it possible for us to accelerate wild animal welfare science through research, grants, and community-building.

Although the vast majority of animals live in the wild, we know very little about their quality of life or how to improve it. Scientific progress is desperately needed for us to understand which factors cause the most suffering for wild animals and how people can address those factors responsibly and effectively. A field focused on understanding wild animal welfare will open doors to new scientific paradigms and ultimately help wild animals, and that’s why we do what we do.

We envision a robust and diverse community of researchers around the world who are working on this problem, and your support makes it possible for us to keep that vision alive.

    To designate a specific dollar amount, asset, or percentage of your estate to support Wild Animal Initiative's work, speak with your lawyer or planned giving advisor about adding language like this to your will:

    "I give, devise, and bequeath to Wild Animal Initiative (EIN: 82-2281466) the sum of $________ (or a description of the specific asset) for the benefit of Wild Animal Initiative and its general purposes."
